Stour United Businesses Achievements in 2008:                                               Increased membership from 30 to 44 members Produced and distributed the “Guide to Shopping and Eating” in Shipston Launched the new Stour United Businesses website to improve the promotion of Stour Valley businesses and services and the communication for members. Held the 1st Stour Valley Business Fair under the banner of “Survuve & Thrive in 2009” with over 160 attendees Worked with South Warwickshire Tourism, Shipston Town Council, Stratford District Council, Warwickshire County Council, Coventry & Warwickshire Chamber of Commerce and Advantage West Midlands to promote and represent the opinions of local businesses Raised awareness of SUBs and its members in the local community through local advertising and press, business and other events.
